Rooibos is grown in the Cedarberg Mountains overlooking Capetown, it has been drunk as a refreshing tea for centuries because of its beneficial health effects and is now widely available around the world.

We use unfermented Rooibos (pronounced Roy Bush) in our skincare products – the tea is still green when picked – as the antioxidant content is higher and therefore more effective. In-vitro tests show Rooibos to be antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti – irritative & have antimicrobial effects.
